Refund policy
Media Craft sells two different kinds of product, and they are returned in different ways. Please read the section that matches your order.
Digital patterns
Crochet patterns are digital files delivered instantly. Because a pattern cannot be returned once it has been downloaded, we do not usually offer refunds on them.
We will refund a pattern if you contact us within 14 days of purchase and:
- The file will not download, or will not open
- The file is damaged, incomplete, or is the wrong pattern
- You were charged more than once for the same pattern
- You were charged for a pattern you did not order
We cannot refund a pattern because you changed your mind after downloading it, because you bought it by mistake and have already downloaded it, because your finished item did not turn out the way you hoped, or because you found it harder than expected.
By completing your purchase and downloading straight away, you agree that delivery begins immediately. Where the law gives you a cancellation period for digital goods, that right ends once the download has started. This does not affect your rights if a file is faulty or not as described.
Physical items
Physical items may be returned within 30 days of the day your order arrives.
To be accepted, the item must be unworn and unwashed, in the condition you received it, with any tags still attached.
If the item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we cover the cost of return postage and you may choose a full refund or a replacement. Please send us a photo when you get in touch so we can sort it quickly.
If you simply change your mind, or the size is not right, you are welcome to return the item but the cost of return postage is yours. The original shipping cost, where one was charged, is not refunded.
Please do not send anything back before contacting us. Returns need to go to the correct address, and items sent without arranging a return first can go missing.
How to start a return or refund
Email us with your order number and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply within two business days and will tell you exactly what to do next.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Digital refunds are usually processed within five to ten business days. Refunds on physical items are processed once the item arrives back with us and has been checked.
